The aim of Neara is to deliver a digital twin that is capable of executing engineering-grade analysis of any complexity automatically and at an entire network scale.

The intuitive user interface is quick to learn and designed to streamline the iterative design process, automating and integrating many user inputs such as ruling span calculations, sag-tension measurements, stringing tables.

Input data is updated live, reducing time spent between each design step.

Big Data Design

Neara has been designed with the specific aim of managing your entire network in one model. Sensible data management means that large networks with millions of poles and full Lidar scans of their network can be modelled within the software. This can then be easily accessed by your design and asset management teams across the network.

Having Neara linked to our Structural Lines software means that you can get up-to-date risk assessments based on the ACTUAL condition of you network at any time. This is particularly useful for emergency design checks for replacements, when reconductoring an old line, when adding elements to existing structures, or even when tying into an older part of the network.

Compliant

The calculations used in Neara are fully compliant with the AS/NZS 7000 standard. Neara allows you to choose from multiple field data input methods to collect only the information you require. This data can be exported into a variety of reports to both AutoCAD and PDF formats.
